Take Fear and Kick it to the Curb!

How many times have you thought about things in your

life that you wanted to do and let fear

rob you of doing it?

Always afraid of what someone will say.

I don’t know how many projects

I’ve started and haven’t finished because I’ve

been afraid it wouldn’t look right or that

someone wouldn’t like it.

So….

 Don’t worry!! Be happy!!

I will sing this song every day

and strive to do what God wants me to do.

Bread Making….

Homemade bread and peach preserves.I could live on it.

And I pretty much have the last

few days.

bread-1

The easiest recipe…

1 pkg yeast
2cups warm water
4 1/3 cups flour
2 tsp salt
2 Tbs sugar

mix yeast and water,
add dry ingredients

preheat oven to 200
and turn off.

put dough in a bowl and
cover with a clean dish towel.
then put in the oven with the door
cracked a bit.
let rise for 2 hours.

put flour on your hands and shape
dough.
let rise again until doubled in size.

slash top of dough several times
with a sharp knife.

cook in a deep cast iron
skillet for 45 min at 375.

Summertime, Baseball & Hydrangeas…..

We’ve had lots of cool weather but now it’s getting hot and very humid…;(

I’ve been so busy I haven’t trimmed

hedges or weeded the beds yet.

That job may just have to wait for fall.

Our Henderson boys made it to the playoffs

this year and won all three games last weekend.

They have played their hearts out this season.

We are so stinkin proud of all of them!

Summertime is almost upon us….

I’m having a few problems with my blog.

I think I need to get someone that knows what they’re doing to fix it for me.

The templates blogger have are pretty

confusing!!
