Oooops! I missed Outdoor Wednesday! I have been way to busy this week. Well, there's always next Wednesday, right?
It has been so warm here the last few days, except for today, that I have been outside enjoying the nice sunshine and balmy breezes, yes, I said balmy...living in Texas is wonderful most of the time. We do have cold weather, but in between we have really nice weather. I have been taking advantage of it too, cleaning out my flower beds, trimming back my roses and crape myrtles, the dwarf ones, not the large ones. I learned last year you aren't supposed to trim those back...it's called crape murder...;] I also discovered this winter that the little birds eat the seeds of the crape myrtle, another good reason to leave the old blooms on.
