Outdoor Wednesday....

I can't believe a week has already gone by...it's Outdoor Wednesday again. These are from last summer...you forget how lush everything was. I used to really have a problem with weeds and dreaded getting in there and pulling them all out but for the last few years I have been putting a carpet of leaves in the beds and it is so much easier for me to take care of them. Sometimes I chop the leaves up with the lawnmower and sometimes I just put them in as is. Hubby offered to rake leaves in the fall so the leaves went in whole...:)
