Finally after an hour I figured out how to post a video!!
At times there are at least fifty waiting their turn at the feeder.
When I go outside to video though most of them go sit in the trees
waiting for me to leave and since I don't have much patience
I don't get them all in the video...;(
Awesome video! Your hummers are much more congenial than ours (also ruby throated). They all flit through the air but almost never allow another one on the feeder. You should see some of the nasty looks they give to one another!
I am thinking our season is over with the hummers but for an occasional visitor heading south and passing through. It was a remarkable year for them. I am still filling feeders but not seeing very many.
A joy stopping by to visit with you! Kindly, Lorraine
How wonderful! We have a lot of hummingbirds here too, but our feeder is away from the house and by the time I get near them...they fly away! I have a hard time getting any pictures at all. We've never had 50 at once. I just love them.
Thanks for coming to visit. I will also hit the follow button here:)

I feed the hummingbirds, and never have I seen that many willing to SHARE the feeder! This is an incredible video. Glad you figrured out how to get it posted to share with us. NICE.
If you can't see all of my header on your monitor, press the ctrl button and scroll towards you...that will make it smaller.
Sometimes I scroll forward to make the pictures and writing larger....;-)

Miniature Donkeys
As you probably know we raise and sell miniature donkeys....we do have several boys for sale that would make great little herdsires and or pets....we even have a few older jennets that would make great pets for you.

I am so obsessed with photography it isn't funny. My favorite subjects are nature and children.
My camera of choice is a Nikon D90. The lens that came with the camera(18-105mm) was never used until recently and I discovered that it shoots wide angle shots. Now I use it a lot.
Also in my bag is a 60mm and a 70-300mm.
My hubby and I are retired and we raise miniature donkeys. In my spare time I love to garden, decorate our home and babysit grandchildren.

Oh my! What a treat - all those hummers. I've never seen more than one at a time and that's not often at that. Wonderful video!
I loved the video. I had a sweet little hummer visit every day this summer, as long as the blooms on my sage lasted. I have always loved them.
