Homemade bread and peach preserves.I could live on it.
And I pretty much have the last
few days.
The easiest recipe…
1 pkg yeast
2cups warm water
4 1/3 cups flour
2 tsp salt
2 Tbs sugar
mix yeast and water,
add dry ingredients
preheat oven to 200
and turn off.
put dough in a bowl and
cover with a clean dish towel.
then put in the oven with the door
cracked a bit.
let rise for 2 hours.
put flour on your hands and shape
dough.let rise again until doubled in size.
slash top of dough several times
with a sharp knife.
cook in a deep cast iron
skillet for 45 min at 375.
Beautiful pears..hubby doesn’t remember what variety they are but they must be fall pears.
The donkeys have been eating the
ones that have fallen to the ground.
They know what’s good!
Peach preserves are homemade too.
