This is our precious grandson Ty Allen loving on a donkey named Precious. Looks like she's doing some loving back...that's her foal standing behind her. She wasn't quite sure what that
little person was.
This sunflower is a volunteer that a bird dropped in one of my flower pots. I've tried to grow them but the squirrels eat them before they can bloom...maybe because this one was so close to the house it kept them away.
The purple flower is called Mexican Sage and the roses are Double Knockouts. The other purple
behind the fence is a salvia.
The yellow flower is called Mexican Mint Marigold and it smells like anise...I love it.
You can cut it and hang it up in a dry place and enjoy it all winter.
